VIP Discord

Follow these steps to ensure that you are not overwhelmed by notifications when you join the server, or when new channels are added. After following these steps, you can update notifications for specific channels. For general instructions on notifications visit Discord Settings. 1) Select the VIP Alerts server at the top

2) Confirm that the Hide Muted Channels setting is OFF (x is off and checkmark is on), and select the Notifications icon

3) Near the bottom, select whether or not you wish to receive mobile push notifications (x is off and checkmark is on)

4) At the top, select Mute VIP Alerts

5) Select Until I turn it back on
